Action #8 — Breakfast for 70 children (Kenya)

In rural primary schools in Homa Bay, Kenya, many children arrive at school on an empty stomach. Without a morning meal, it becomes hard to concentrate, to learn, or even to stay in school for the full day.

Rural to Action, a local community-based organization, runs the Cup of Hope program: every morning, children receive a nutritious porridge before class begins.

$1 feeds one child for a full week. We’re funding $70, which covers a week of breakfast for 70 children.

This project is carried out by Rural to Action, a registered community-based organization (CBO) in Kenya, working directly in schools across Homa Bay. The funds are sent directly to the organization, and program photos will be shared once funding is complete.

$1 × 70 children = $70. That’s our goal.
