Legal Form & Tax Status

Everyday Humanitarians Association is federally incorporated under the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act (CNCA). We are not a registered charity and do not issue charitable donation tax receipts in Canada or other jurisdictions.

What We Do

We pool small recurring donations into a Goal Pot and, when the target is reached, fund one Action per cycle (Specific Project Close, Program Contribution, or a Direct Action by EH). See our Terms of Service & Donation Policy for details.

Current focus: We currently focus on Hunger Relief (meals & food assistance) and may expand to other humanitarian causes over time (e.g., clean water, medical aid, education, environment, animals, disaster response).

100% pledge (after card & bank fees): 100% of undesignated donations, net of standard processing/bank/FX fees, go to projects (“Actions”). Operations are funded separately by optional tips, merch sales, sponsors, merch sales and grants.

Public Transparency & Media

We publish redacted payment receipts for Actions and link to public third-party pages/reports when available. Public artifacts show the amount sent (Net to Action) and exclude donor personal data. We generally do not re-host third-party images/logos without permission. Any third-party names or program titles are for reference; copyrights/trademarks remain with their owners.

No Partnership or Endorsement

Mentions of, links to, or embeds from third parties are for transparency only and do not constitute a partnership, joint venture, agency, or endorsement.

Sanctions & Restricted Jurisdictions

We do not process payments to or from sanctioned parties or restricted jurisdictions and we comply with our payment processors’ policies and applicable laws.

Limitation of Liability

This website and its content are provided “as is.” While we aim for accuracy, EH makes no warranties and is not liable for losses arising from site use, donation processing, third-party content, or outcomes of third-party projects/programs or Direct Actions by delegates, except as required by law. Projects/programs executed by third parties are outside EH’s control after funds are transferred; EH does not guarantee specific outcomes or timelines.
