FAQs
We’re a Canadian nonprofit that turns spare change into real change. Members give just 99¢ a month (billed $2.97 quarterly). We pool those micro-gifts in a Goal Pot and, when it hits a small target, we fund one action, either a specific project (when available) or an ongoing program (any time) across causes like food, animals, trees/climate, education, medical, water, and disaster relief.
We always publish our own redacted receipt. When a public page/report exists, we link to it.
Because 99¢ feels lighter. It lowers the barrier so more people join. When lots of us chip in, we can still fund real things, just one at a time.
Just click the orange “JOIN US” button at the top right of the screen. You can donate using a credit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. We bill quarterly or annually to reduce processing fees. You can cancel anytime.
Our engine is monthly micro-giving. If you prefer a one-time gift right now, email [email protected] and we’ll help.
About 90% goes straight into the current action. About 10% keeps the lights on: admin & compliance (e.g., filings to stay registered), website & tech, content, and growth. No salaries from this slice at this stage. If that changes, we’ll update the site. We publish amounts, fees, and receipts so you can follow every cent.
As soon as the Goal Pot hits its target, we send funds to the selected project or program (typically within 24–72 hours) and we post our receipt shortly after.
We use simple filters:
✅ Locally-led & credible (visible track record or public presence)
✅ High impact per dollar (small amounts that move the needle)
✅ Publicly verifiable when possible (we prefer items with public pages/reports)
✅ Rotating causes (so it’s not always the same type of mission)
Sometimes we’ll help finish a specific project (clear goal, such as providing a water filter for a family). Other times we’ll support an ongoing program (meals, trees, shelter care). In all cases, we post our receipt and, when available, a public link.
We always post our receipt. If there’s a public page/report, we link it. If there isn’t yet, we publish a summary and update links later if they appear.
We don’t re-host third-party photos/logos without permission. Images on our site may be illustrative or embedded from the original source with credit.

This fee helps cover essential costs like administration, tech maintenance, content, and growth. It ensures the organization can sustainably grow and reach more people without relying on large grants or institutional funding. No salaries come out of this slice at this stage. We publish totals/fees in our Audit & Receipts.
Proceeds from merch help cover admin/tech/content/growth and, as we scale, may help fund part-time/full-time roles. (Merch is fulfilled by Bonfire.com under their terms.)
