Giving used to feel heavy.
We made it light.
Tired of guilt-driven giving? So were we. Everyday Humanitarians makes it easy: 99¢ a month pooled together until we can take one small action.

Why We Exist
We started Everyday Humanitarians because giving felt overwhelming, and it shouldn’t.
What’s Broken
- Most people want to help, but:
- You’re asked for $50, then $100, then to “round up.”
- You feel guilty if you don’t give more… and skeptical when you do.
- You’re hit with heavy photos and urgent headlines while you’re just trying to get through your day.
That’s broken. It keeps everyday people from becoming everyday humanitarians.
How We’re Fixing It
- Simple & affordable. You give 99¢/month
- One small action at a time. We fill a Goal Pot and act when it’s full.
- Real proof. We publish our receipt and link to a public page.
We’re not a big institution and we’re not a one-cause charity. We’re a movement built to tackle it all: food, animals, environment, education, medical, water and more, one small action at a time.
How we operate
- We rotate causes over time: food, animals, trees/climate, education, medical, water etc.
- Each time, we either finish a specific project (when available) or support an ongoing program (any time).
- We only fund pages we can link to publicly, and after every action we publish our own redacted receipt.
- We run a lean 90/10 model: 90% goes straight to actions; 10% covers essentials like admin, website/hosting & outreach.
Hi, I'm Julie

“I built this because I was tired of caring about everything… and doing nothing. Donating didn’t feel good anymore, too many asks, too much pressure. I’d cancel just to breathe.
If I felt this way, others do too. Everyday Humanitarians is for all of us who want to help without the headaches. Now we can all do something.”

” I built this because I was tired of caring about everything… and doing nothing.
Donating didn’t feel good anymore. I’d scroll past every fundraiser and every pop-up, not because I didn’t care, but because each one added weight to my day. I felt overwhelmed. Too many causes. Too many charities. $10 minimums that felt small at first… but added up fast. The pressure grew, and eventually, I’d cancel my donations just to feel some relief.
Charity updates touch me deeply. And still… I wasn’t giving. And I thought, if someone like me isn’t giving, even though I care so much, how many others feel the same?
That’s when the idea was born. I created Everyday Humanitarians for people who want to help, but feel overwhelmed. Now we can all do something, without big budgets or big decisions. One tiny action at a time, together.“
