Eastern Afghanistan has been hit by devastating floods, leaving already vulnerable families in urgent need of food. Among those most affected were widows raising children alone, with little or no income.
Three families were identified through community assessments. Each received a food package containing wheat flour, cooking oil, lentils, sugar, salt, tea, and liquid milk.
Everyday Humanitarians funded all three packages.
$50 per family.
$150 total.
The project was implemented by Afghan Relief, which works on the ground in eastern Afghanistan. The distributions were photographed, and we received documentation confirming that all three packages were delivered.
Three families. Three food packages. One small action made possible by everyday people acting together.
